So much from Saturday's events to tell, so here are some highlights ...
We learned about the principle of Ubuntu - the feeling of interconnectedness (is that a real word, I don't know!) - it's a really powerful tool that I wish that we shared more of in the UK.
We danced and sang, all of the countries had to come and show off their dancing one by one - it was really good fun!
We've learnt new ways of showing our appreciation ... ask me about Mr. Pasha when we get home!!
We've learned a huge amount about the challenges facing some of our colleagues' education systems and the difficult task of trying to create an education system where none really existed before. Talking to the Rwandan delegates before dinner was hugely enlightening. How do you decide who writes the new history books after an event as earth-shattering as the genocide?
We taught the hokey cokey to a group of our African colleagues - then then tried to show us how to dance like them ... I have rarely laughed for such a long time in one go.
Sunday will see the start of partnership talks ... think of us while we wend our way through to make a close, strong and long-lasting partnership.
